Originally built as the Alhambra Theater in 1905, it began as a vaudeville venue, eventually showing movies and opening an upstairs ballroom. Then The Alhambra Ballroom opened in 1926, and played host to legendary performers such as Bessie Smith Jelly Roll Morton, Frank manning and Billie Holiday.
But now its back! reopened in 2003, The Alhambra Ballroom now hosts weddings, parties, and various events.
